For the first day of production, we decided to film the shed scenes. We went to the shed which is located at the back of my relatives garden. It is a few minutes walk from our school so we were able to get there quickly and start filming. First, we set up the camera and tripod and made sure it was stable and in the right position.
We filmed an establishing shot of the shed. We then cleared an area inside the shed where we were going to film in so that we were safe and there was no risk of us tripping over objects. Also, as we were inside of a house we were not disturbed by members of the public. The only difficulties we faced was that the lighting was very bright which we did not want. We wanted our opening sequence to be dark and gloomy to set a mysterious atmosphere. However, we realised we could adjust the lighting when editing in post production.
Before filming I had to change and have makeup put on my face to make it look like I had been abused. We used fake blood on my face and I wore a plain white shirt that we had put fake blood on. It took us around 2 hours to film and as a result we got all of the different shots we wanted.
The Park
On the second day of filming we went to Seven kings park as we wanted the setting to be a forest. We walked around the park and found an area which looked like a forest and where there were not many people passing by. We set up the camera and tripod and my partner put fake blood on my face. Before filming we took health and safety into consideration and made sure the area was safe and that we would not trip over branches etc. We then started to film. This took us around 2 hours. However, one difficulty we faced was that a member of the public was concerned about what we were doing and wanted us to be careful. We then explained that we were filming for media coursework and assured them that we were being safe. 
We also used pre production material such as a storyboard so that we didn't forget our shots that we had to film. It also reminded us about how we were filming the shots. For example, it would tell us the shot type and the camera angle.
Both my partner and I were always on time and we stuck to the schedule. We wanted to film the scenes within two days so that we had time left over to edit. Therefore, we felt we were able to meet the deadline that was set for when we should finish the opening sequence. Also, as I am the only actor we did not need to rely on anyone else. My partner and I worked very well together and we both took eachothers ideas into consideration. This made the production process a lot easier and quicker.
We are now in the post production process and are editing our opening sequence.
